The reality .. just can't stay off the computer. Drawing these made me realize I lost my good Pocket Brush, this one's shot.

In the last hour of 2008, I found myself looking at gruesome photos of the current conflict in Israel & Gaza on The Big Picture immediately followed by a video of two women sharing a bacon egg burger sandwiched between two glazed donuts The two forms of nausea combined with my tonic of absinthe and pot to reveal a fitting goodbye sensation to 2008. Wartime, indulgence, meat, photography, hate, political upheaval, breakups, relocating, office job, alcoholism, creative coma. Here's to a 2009 full of clarity, creativity, silence and solitude.
