Nate Beaty is an interdisciplinary hacksaw. His clawed right hand ekes out comics and illustrations while his left hand mashes the keyboard to code websites and make games and snap filmy photos.

He resides in Durham, North Carolina with his wife Laurie and their cat Hazel. RIP Carl 2009–2025. 😿

• Lived off the grid 1995–2000 on an island sometimes in a van
• Started comic doodling with Brainfag in 1999
• 30 second career as punk singer: Taco Bell Girl with Pelvis Wesley
• Started zinemaking in 1995 with art + poetry rag White Space
• Programmed Rueda for the Commodore Amiga in 1992 at age 16
• Had "Beaty" shaved on my head in my teens
• "Coded" on the Commodore 64 at age 10
